The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a volunteer organization, inspired by Jewish values, that works through a program of research, education, advocacy and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children and families and strives to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all.
To accomplish its Mission, the National Council of Jewish Women will work to:
- advance the well-being and status of women
- advance the well-being of children and families
- enhance the quality of Jewish life
- ensure and advance individual and civil rights
- support a secure Israel and the well-being of all its people
For nearly 110 years, NCJW has brought together women of conscience committed to the Jewish principle of Tikkun Olam: repairing the world. Its members meet the issues of the day head on – fighting to improve the lives of women, children and families – through programs of research, education, advocacy and community service. |
