Business and Professional Women/USA (BPW/USA) is a national organization that promotes equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. Business and Professional Women/USA is a powerful network of 70,000 members and more than 2,000 local organizations members nationwide.
Founded in 1919, BPW has a long track record of promoting equity for women in the workplace. BPW provides leadership through advocacy, education and information within our communities, states and the nation on issues we all care about. BPW’s commitment to these issues is reflected by BPW’s Legislative Platform, which provides members with the tools they need to become effective advocates and have a strong voice on Capitol Hill and the state house.
BPW is also dedicated to helping women further their education through the BPW Foundation. Founded in 1956, the Foundation has helped more than 8,000 low-income women complete their education. The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships and loans for women pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees so they can achieve career advancement and greater equity in today’s workforce. |
